History of the Congress

History

The IV Picasso International Congress continue the series initiated by the Musée national Picasso-Paris. These congresses provide a specialized forum bringing together scholars from around the world to share their research on Pablo Picasso. Since 2015, they have sparked a renaissance in Picasso studies:

«Revoir Picasso»

First Congress focused on Picasso’s creative processes using different artistic media. Subjects such as his works’ circulation and the relationship with his writings or other writers were also examined.
